The ministry is to facilitate the interface between government, implementing bodies In tourism, culture and the creative industries as well as international civil Society partners.

Walid Baz

Event Decor
Founder of Baz Events. He started his journey in 2009 and now stands as one of the top wedding creators in the world. He has organized extravagant themed weddings and private events for royalties and is recognized as one of the primary experts in this field, along with his upstanding reputation for working in the premium segment and focusing on large scale projects. Funke Awobokun

Mixology & Bartending
A result-driven mixologist and restaurateur with over a Decade of managerial experience operating high-end upscale restaurants, Cocktails and grills. Her enviable record in the areas of event management is one That is commendable, same for her passion at delivering excellent customer Service at social and corporate events.
A graduate of law from the ogun state university, Olufunke is an accomplished manager with sound business knowledge and propensity to initiate positive changes anchored on her strong business acumen and leadership qualities.

George Omoraro

Branding & Social Media
Founder and CEO of Rage Group and also the founder of The George Omoraro Foundation. He is a visibility coach and brand communications expert. He is by far one of the most successful young entrepreneurs in Nigeria today.
The George Omoraro is a provocative thinker, he is a philanthropist and he has an Unending crave to see people, especially entrepreneurs do well. The lion as he is fondly called is from delta state, His brand experience spans across the automobile industry, financial industry, FMCC, real estate, drinks & beverage markets to mention a few.

Christine Ogbeh

Weddings
Christine Ogbeh is a professional Nigerian event management specialist with 10 years experience in Space Transformations/Design, Branding/ Communications, Brand Activations, Stage Management, Corporate Events Management, Branding and Promotional Marketing. She currently owns and manages the following event management brands; Quorum West Africa, The Wedding Guru and The Wedding Mall and understands creative psychology in an interesting way.

Emmanuel Okolo

Emmanuel Okolo is a certified filmmaker, moving image specialist, visual consultant and photographer. He is the creative director of Papilonmexy Film Studios and is the curator of the wedding platform show “Th Wedding Doctors”. His company is working on determining trends in the Entertainment Industry to curate local content and stories. Emmanuel has also made a few appearances on screen as an actor and director. While obtaining his Masters Degree in MA Moving Image from University of South Wales Emmanuel is very excited to be part of the team and speaker in this maiden edition of AHEM-C.

Molara Akande

Event Management
Molara is usually referred to as the first Wedding Planner in Nigeria. She has done over 1000 events in all forms, within Nigeria and beyond. She is known to be a trend setter in the event industry as she keeps coming up with new ways of improving the industry. She is the founder of APPOEMN (Association of Professionals Party Organizers and Event Managers of Nigeria). Molara remains the C.E.O of the Just Weddings Household and Events Company which comprise of the Wedding Planning Department of Just Weddings, Wedding Fayre, a yearly wedding exhibition, JW Events, JW Party Store, Showers By Just Weddings.

Everyone’s welcome. The conference is a fun week of discourse and collaboration on how to improve the hospitality industry in Africa. You don’t have to be in the hospitality industry to attend.

Unless stated explicitly in the event information, we do not cover transport costs to and from events. It is your responsibility to arrange transport to and from the event. However, we will provide specific information, if necessary, to those attending.
